Hi, I’m Nicole Capote and I am so thrilled to be teaching classes at the Scrapbook Garden!  I am a Huntington Beach native and resident, living with my handsome hubby of just over 1 year, Hector, and my 4 year old cat, BeBe. I am also known as mom to Ashley, my 20 year old "baby" who somehow dodged the creative gene and wants nothing to do with paper or glue (Ohmygosh, where did I go wrong…?!).  I started scrapping back in the early 1990's as a way to organize and display the pictures I was taking that were ending up in shoe boxes and ziplock bags.  It didn't take long to become addicted, and now I can't imagine my life without the creative outlet and one-of-a-kind keepsakes scrapbooking offers me.  Ever since I was a little girl, my favorite thing to do has been to play with scissors and paper...and even as a grown up, nothing makes me happier than to sit at my desk, listen to my favorite CD, and make a scrappy mess!
