As a “newbie” in scrapbooking and card making I am so glad I discovered The Scrapbook Garden in Huntington Beach near my home.  I am in the shopping center business and this is a store we would label “First Class.”  The store is so clean and organized it makes shopping and creating a snap.  The staff has been wonderful helping my 16-year-old granddaughter and me in selecting the materials we needed to get started.  Here’s a big compliment – we were in Europe in April and after taking many pictures my granddaughter turned to me and said she wanted to go to that scrapbook store on Beach Blvd. "cause that lady (the owner) has such good ideas, I love her."  I agree.  We look forward to selecting some of the most beautiful papers to be found in a scrapbook store for our projects and having their very creative staff (and owner) to help us.

You are amazing.  You are so cheerful, friendly and helpful.  I live in Las Vegas and found your store by accident.  The store is well organized and carries the latest products.  My last trip, well, let's just say, I found items perfect for 3 projects, one was an album for a Pirate's Birthday Party.  I love your website, how well you answer emails, and the selection of products.  Right now I am planning a trip to Southern California just so I can shop at The Scrapbook Garden.   (Will I win?  I doubt it and it doesn't matter, I just want you to know how nice it is to do business with someone who is so friendly!)  Thanks, Melissa, hope your day is perfect!

Hello! Here are the things I love about your store: the organization and cleanliness. For a "Type A" like myself, it makes coming into the store and scrapooking in your crop room a very "zen" experience. I also like your displays of made books and layouts. If I get into a rut, I can walk around the store and something will always catch my eye and my creativity kicks back into gear. I also enjoy the tools you have available to use and that you don't charge for crop hours.  But most of all, I like coming in to see Toffee! When she is not there, it's always a bit of a disappointment. Thanks to you and Brian for all you do!

I can't tell you how excited I am about your store. You see the girls in my office told me all about it and about the Crop de tour bus. Needless to say, as soon as tickets were available.... We bought 4 of them right off the bat! I am a newbee to the scrabooking /cardmaking world. EVERYONE at your store is so nice, friendly and helpful. Thats what makes your store different. Acually makes it better. To me everything in your store is new. So I saw a big pot of gold as soon as I walked in. More like a huge platter of food and had no idea where to take my first bite. I did come home with some beautiful and fun paper, embelishments, shears, and ink. Look forward to coming back soon and for the bus tour!  Looks like I will be signing up for that National Scrap day too. Ohh boy, I think I'm going to need a second job!! Thanks much!!

I love how friendly everyone in the store is.  I have only been in twice (within a week... ha ha) and both times I was greeted by someone working the register AND other customers.  There were a group of ladies "Scrapping" in the back of the store who also asked if I needed any help. It is as if the customers of the store are a family & I love that!!! I look forward to many more trips to the Garden & am so sad I will be out of town for the Crop Tour.  I will surely be on the next one!!!! Thanks!

I received this email and had to share it with everyone.  It truly gave me chills to know that the store we have created is having such a positive impact on those people who have become our customers:

Dear Melissa,

I am amazed and overwhelmed with you and your store.  I remember my amazement when I first entered the store.  Fabulous materials!  And, not being a scrapbooker, I couldn't even ask an intelligible question.  Yet, you were patient and spent a great deal of time with me answering questions.

I remember that a customer encouraged me to take a workshop.  I was shy about signing up since I knew absolutely nothing and had few, if any materials.  And, the customer told me that I could go late saying that the instructor had an assistant.  Further, Joy said that she would come and help me. She was patience personified.

Well, I did go to the workshop...an hour late. (I couldn't change my prior commitment). And, Joy came and sat beside me and helped me as did the workshop assistant.

I have to comment on the workshop.  (I have over 30 years in the teaching field so I feel qualified to make an observation.)  Never have I seen a more professional presentation in my years of experience.

The other day, I entered your store and to my surprise, you are having a scrapbooking bus tour.  I am astounded at the very idea.  And, several women were in the store signing up and making plans for the adventure.  What a wonderful idea.

I wish you every success.  What a wonderful and inspirational person you are.  I am honored to have met you and all associated with you.
